to the SPCA of Central Florida's Pet Adoption Photo Gallery. Here you
will find just a sample of the beautiful and loving pets available
to become new members of your family. When you adopt a pet from an animal
shelter, you are giving a second chance to a loving pet that is now
homeless.
Our online
adoption photo gallery is updated weekly. Please remember we have
many, many more pets for you to visit personally
at our two shelters.
Pet adoption
is a serious consideration. You'll want to interact with the pet you
choose to make sure you both are comfortable with the "match."
For this reason, an adoption may not be made on-line.
All
dog adopters will receive a FREE DVD,
"Training Your Adopted Dog." A $29 value!
(Note: A cat training video will be available in the near future.)
There
may be pet profiles that state “STAR PET.” These pet’s
have been here for a while and need a little extra advertising.
PLUS, they also have a special adoption fee of only $35! Remember,
all pets are spayed/neutered prior to leaving, and have received
all tests, shots and vaccinations.
Princess: Hi! My name is Princess and I am 5 years old.
I’m a Rottweiller mix and I’ve been here since 6/13/08.
I’m already spayed and ready for you to take me home! I am
good with other dogs and with kids and I’m housebroken too!

Nino: Hey, it’s me Nino! I am a 6 month old pit bull/boxer
mix who came to the shelter on 6/17/08. I’ll be neutered before
you take me home. I am good with other dogs, cats and older kids.

Precious: I am a 2 year old female pit mix who came to the
SPCA on July 3rd because the landlord wouldn't let me stay. I like
tennis bals, other dogs, children, and am housebroken. Even though
I'm a big gal, I have a very calm, laid back personality. I'd love

Brittany: Hi there and hello to you! I’m Brittany!
I am a 5 year old pit/shar-pei mix who came to the shelter on 6/20/08.

Sadie: Hi! Hey! It’s me, Sadie! I am a
7 month old pit/hound mix who came here to the SPCA on 7-19-08.
I will be spayed before going home with you. I am good with other

Boogey: Hi, my name is Boogey. I am a 2 year
old pit bull. I came to the shelter on 7-708 and I am already neutered
and ready to go home with you. I am good with other dogs, cats and
kids! I am also housebroken. I like to play with the ball and sit
and lie down for treats. I am a very sweet boy. My ID# is 149911.
Roxy: Hello, I’m Roxy. I am an 11 month old pit/dalmation
mix who came to the SPCA on 7-6-08. I am already spayed and ready
for you to take me home! I am good with other dogs and kids. I am
already housebroken as well! I love to play ball and am wonderful
and sweet. I give kisses and am very affectionate. My ID# is 149887.
Tulula: Hi! I’m Tulula! I am an 8 month
old pit mix who came to the SPCA on 7-26-08. I am already spayed

Bony: Hi, my name is Bony and I am 2 ½ years old.
I am a Bull Terrier mix who came to the SPCA on 7-10-08. I am already
spayed and ready for you to pick me! I am good with other dogs and
with kids. I am also housebroken. I like to play and I love to be

Honey: Hi. I’m Honey. I am 3 years old and I’m
a Shepard mix. I came to the shelter on 8-6-08 and I’ll be
spayed before you take me home. I am good with other dogs and with
kids. I am housebroken too. I like lots of companionship and I am

Negra: Hey all I’m Negra! I am an 8 month old lab mix
who has been at the shelter since 5-19-08! That makes me a star
pet! (I’ve been here longer than anyone else!) I am good with
other dogs, I LOVE them actually! And I’m good with cats and
kids. I am housebroken and will be spayed before I go home with
you. I love to play ball and get belly rubs. My ID# is 148768.
Trixie: Hi! My name is Trixie and I am a 1 ½ year
old pit mix. I have been here at the shelter since 6-27-08 and I
am spayed and ready to go home with you! I am GREAT with other dogs!
I LOVE them! I am also good with kids and I’m housebroken.
I am smart and well behaved. I know how to sit and lie down and
am learning how to stay. My ID# is 149678.
Bonnie: Hi. I’m Bonnie. I am a 2 year old Shepard mix
who came to the SPCA on 8-3-08. I am already spayed and ready for
you to take me home. I am good with other dogs and with kids. I’m
also housebroken. I am wonderfully calm and sweet. I have a great
temperament and am mellow and loving. My ID# is 150528.
Serina: Hi there, I’m Serina. I am a 1 year old Akita
mix who came to the SPCA on 7-13-08. I am already spayed and ready
for you to take me home. I am good with other dogs, cats and kids!
I’m housebroken too! I know how to sit and lie down. I love
to play and have fun. My ID# is 150052.
Moe: Hi everybody! I’m Moe! I am the cutest little
rat terrier mix and I’m 2 ½ years old. I came to the
shelter on 5-29-08 and I’ll be neutered before I go home with
you. I came from a shelter in Alabama that was too full. I am very
affectionate and love attention. My ID# is 148966.
Shadow: Hey! My name is Shadow and I am a 5 month old lab!
I came to the SPCA on 8-5-08 and I am already neutered and ready
to go home! I am good with other dogs and with kids. I am already
housebroken as well! I am curious and playful. My ID# is 150576.
Bilco: Hi! I’m Bilco and I am a young lab mix who has
been at the shelter for over two months! That means I am a star
pet! I am super sweet and fun and get along with everyone I meet!
I like to be around people and play ball. I also like a good cookie
or two and will even sit for them!!! I am only $35.00 and am worth
every penny!!!
MISCHA: #148411, female, not spayed, 1 year old. Good with
children and other cats. Not good with dogs. Once I know you I will
warm up to you. In CR17 since 5/2/08.
SWEET PEA: #148834, not spayed, female, 1 1/2 years old.
I am a purr machine. Such a sweet girl. Very loving and playful.
I stick my tongue out when I am petted. In CAT 41 since 5/25/08.
SMOKEY: #150037, not spayed, female, 1 year old. Good with
children. Not good with other cats and dogs. Loves to sit in your
lap and purr. Affectionate. In CAT 25 since 7/12/08.
LITTLE MONSTER: #150114, neutered male, 3 years old. Good
with other cats, dogs and children. Sweet boy. Kind of nervous in
here. Can go home today. In CAT46 since 7/16/08.
TORI: #150132, not spayed, female, 4 1/2 years old. Not
good with other cats and good with older children. I was brought
here because I didn't like the other cat. In CAT58 since 7/17/08.
FURBY: #150034, not spayed, female, 7 months old. Good with
other cats, dogs and children. Great lap cat. Lots of kneading.
Loves to purr. Playful and curious. In CAT28 since 7/12/08.
STELLA: #150356, not spayed, female, 6 months old. Good
with other cats and children. My previous owner moved and couldn't
take me with them. In CAT16 since 7/26/08.
PUMPKIN: #149623, not neutered, male, 1 year old. Good with
other cats and children. Kind of shy but curious, playful and loves
to be petted and brushed. Sweet boy. In CAT 32 since 6/25/08.
PRITTY: #149653, not spayed, female, 1 year old. Not good
with dogs. Needs to take some time to warm up to you but is really
sweet. Loves to be petted. In CAT40 since 6/26/08.
LUKE: #150361, neutered, male, 4 year old. Good with other
cats and dogs. Front declawed. Previous owner couldn't afford to
take care of me. In CAT73 since 7/26/08.
SIMBA: #150441, neutered, male, 5 year old. Good with other
cats, dogs and children. Front declawed. Previous owner moved and
couldn't take me with them. In FR10 since 7/30/08.
LILLY: #149740, spayed, female, 4 year old. Ready to go
home today. Good with other cats, dogs and children. Likes lots
of companionship. Very affectionate. Loves to snuggle. In FR14 since
6/30/08.
ANGEL: #150593, neutered, male, 4 year old. Siamese mix.
Ready to go home today. A bit shy. My previous owner didn't have
time for me. In CAT 44 since 8/6/08.
MARINA: #150764, not spayed, female, 5 year old. Good with
cats, children and dogs. Lind of shy at first but then curious.
Very affectionate. Loves to be held. In CAT61 since 8/12/08.
KIKI: #150028, not spayed, female, 2 years old. Good with
children. Not good with other cats or dogs. Likes to be petted.
Affectionate. Likes lots of companionship. Loves to knead. Good
lap cat. In CAT64 since 7/12/08.
IRWIN: #150549, neutered, male, 5 year old. Can go home
today. Good with other cats, children and dogs. Declawed. Sweet
guy. A little shy but very soft and gentle. In CAT68 since 8/4/08.
CASANOVA: #150652, not spayed, female, 1 year old. Good
with children and dogs. Likes to be petted and lots of companionship.
Very affectionate. Loves to cuddle and purr. In CR6 since 8/8/08.

Exit I-4 on Exit 78 . Drive EAST (towards the New Millennia Mall) on
Conroy Road. We are located on the LEFT (NORTH) side of Conroy Road
in a complex across from the new mall.
Layla (26069)
Layla is a 9 month old, unspayed female Pit mix. She was originally
a stray who we brought over from Seminole County Animal Services,
where she had been since February, so we know very little about
her interactions with cats and children. She does do well with
her canine kennelmates. She has a lot of energy and is playful,
but she also enjoys companionship and is very affectionate. Layla
has been here since 4/3.
Trinity (26154)
Trinity is a 3 year old, spayed female Boxer mix. Her former owner
wasn't willing to train her. Trinity is housebroken and good with
other dogs. We do not know how she is with cats or children. Trinity
is very shy, but very sweet. Trinity has been here since 4/12.
CoCo (26070)
CoCo is a year old, spayed female Chow mix. She was originally
a stray who we brought over from Seminole County Animal Services,
where she had been since December, so we know very little about
her interactions with cats and children. She does do well with
her canine kennelmates, and she is housebroken. She is energetic
and playful, but also affectionate and enjoys companionship. CoCo
has been here since 4/3.
Gordon (26608)
Gordon is a 3 year old, neutered male Terrier mix. His former
owners could not keep him. He is housebroken and good with other
dogs. We do not know how he is with cats. He is not good with
children. Since he is a terrier mix, he does have a lot of energy.
Gordon has been here since 5/19.
Sasha (27420)
Sasha is a 2 year old, unspayed female Domestic Shorthair. Sasha
was brought here because she could not get allow with the other
cats in her family. She is litter trained. We do not know how
she interacts with dogs or kids. Sasha has been here since 7/15.
Lindsey (28029)
Lindsey is a 2 year old, spayed female Domestic Shorthair. She
was brought here because her former owners were moving and could
not take her with them. Lindsey is good with kids, dogs, and other
cats. She is litter trained and declawed on her front paws. Lindsey
has been here since 8/23.
Binks (28030)
Binks is a 2 year old, unspayed female Domestic Shorthair. She
was brought here because her former owners were moving and could
not take her with them. She is litter trained and good with dogs,
kids, and other cats. Binks has been here since 8/23.
Kazooie (28028)
Kazooie is a 4 ½ year old, spayed female Domestic Shorthair.
She was brought here because she does not get along with other
cats. Kazooie is litter trained, declawed on her front paws, and
good with dogs and kids. She does need to be an only cat. Kazooie
has been here since 8/23.
KiKi (28033)
KiKi is a 9 year old, spayed female Domestic Medium-Hair. She
was brought here because her former owners were moving and could
not take her with them. She is litter trained and declawed on
her front paws. Kiki is not good with other cats. We do not know
how she is with dogs or kids. KiKi has been here since 8/23.
Abby (28009)
Abby is a 2 year old, spayed female Domestic Medium-Hair. She
was brought here because someone in her former home was allergic
to her. She is litter trained and good with dogs and kids. Abby
is not good with other cats. She is a sweet girl who loves to
get belly rubs. Abby has been here since 8/21.
Angel (27977)
Angel is a 7 year old, spayed female Domestic Shorthair. She was
brought here because there was no room for her in her former home.
Angel is litter trained, declawed on her front paws, and good
with kids and other cats. She is not good with dogs. Angel has
been here since 8/16.
Skittle (28036)
Skittle is a 1 ½ year old, unspayed female Domestic Shorthair.
She was brought here because she and another cat in the household
were not getting along. She is litter trained and good with dogs.
She is not good with cats and has never been around kids. Skittle
has been here since 8/24.
Tara (28022)
Tara is a 2 year old, unspayed female Siamese mix. She was brought
here because there were too many other pets, and she kept getting
pregnant. Tara is litter trained and good with kids. She has never
been around dogs, and we don't know how she is around cats. Tara
has been here since 8/23.

Here’s
how to get started.
First,
check out some of the terrific adoptable pets listed on our Website,
www.orlandopets.org. Then,
call one of the numbers listed below to arrange for an appointment
to meet the pet. We will arrange a private visit between you and the
pet in either the business offices or another friendly meeting area
of either facility.
(Private
Visits must be arranged by appointment only.)
