Did you know … the SPCA of Central Florida receives no funding from the federal, state or county governments?

Did you know … the SPCA of Central Florida receives no funding from United Way?

Did you know … the SPCA of Central Florida receives no funding from the ASPCA, HSUS, AHA or any other national animal welfare organization?

The SPCA of Central Florida is a private, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. We rely on funding from individuals, corporations and foundations to provide the continuing excellent care of the homeless pets turned in to our shelters.

What does that mean to you? In order to provide the many essential programs and services to our community, your gift is vital and hardworking. 90 cents of every dollar we receive goes toward the fulfillment of our mission. Your donation stays here in your community. You are getting the best return on your investment in our local community of pets and pet lovers.

As you review our services and programs in this website, you will find many ways your donation will help - right here in Central Florida. Please consider making your donation right now. You may give a one time gift or join our “Save the Animals Team”.

What is the “Save the Animals Team?” By becoming a part of the team, you have the opportunity to help homeless pets all year round through a monthly electronic donation you determine and you control. Most importantly, as a member you will provide a dependable source of revenue to help defray some of the fixed monthly costs of shelter operations. For example, we know each month we need food, litter, medical tests, vaccinations, cleaning supplies, and - oh, yes - water, phones and electricity.

As a member of the “Save the Animals Team”, you can register your monthly donation through a hassle free and stress free program. Many of us wish we could make a donation of $100 or $200. As a monthly donor, you’ll find out how easy it is to make a sizeable donation without putting a crimp in your budget.

Determine the amount of your annual donation! (Listed below are a few suggested amounts and an example of how your donation could help.)

$5 per month ($60 per year) could provide one shelter dog with tests, vaccines and shelter for one week.

$10 per month ($120 per year) could provide treatment for URI for one sick cat for one week.

$20 per month ($240 per year) could provide 30 days of shelter, medical tests, annual vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery for two shelter pets.

As you review the programs and services you will find many more opportunities to help. You choose how much. You choose a program or service to support that most interests you.

Please click here and set up a confidential, risk free account. You can transfer funds from a checking or savings account or charge automatically to your Master Card, Visa, or Discover.

Look at the benefits of becoming a “Save the Animals Team” member:

  • You’ll save a check, stamp, letter and, most of all - TIME - each month.
  • Your donation will be deducted from your account on the date you specify, in the amount you specify. (Monthly donations can be changed or cancelled with written notice prior to transfer date.)
  • You’ll receive a photo of a current shelter resident with your confirmation letter so you’ll see the difference you are making 365 days a year.
  • Each individual who has completed a $120 pledge will receive one special commemorative tee shirt (choice of cat or dog) as a thank you for your loyalty.

Note: The SPCA of Central Florida will absorb the bank fees associated with the Electronic Funds Transfer program, therefore, monthly donations are limited to a minimum of $5. There will be a $25.00 fee for any insufficient funds (NSF) transactions.

What if I choose to make a “one time” gift? Of course you can make a one time donation through your credit card or from your checking or savings account. How much you give and when you give is a personal decision - we simply offer you the most convenient options once you have decided the amount of your gift. Simply click here to register your donation. Due to the costs we incur through credit card gifts or Electronic Funds Transfer, donations are limited to a minimum of $5.

What about my privacy? We understand and appreciate your desire for privacy and guarantee we will not sell or rent your private information to any individual or business.
